How to get to Puerto Viejo

By Bus:
From San Jose, 4 daily buses leave daily from the Caribbean Bus Station (13th avenue, 0 street)

By Car:
From San Jose take the Highway #32 to Limon. You will pass the Braulio Carrillo National Park and then continue driving through Guapiles, Siquirres and Matina. Just before arriving in Limon you will pass by a cemetery on your left. Continue for about half a mile and you will see the sign on your right to Cahuita/Puerto Viejo. Turn here to the right and continue this road along the coastline and follow the signs to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo.
