Poas Volcano and Sarapiqui Jungle River

This is the "Highlights Tour" of Costa Rica! Visit 4 great places all in one tour! We start with the Poas Volcano which has one of the largest craters in the world. From there we drive through a canton where we stop at the La Paz waterfall and a Humming Bird gallery. A buffet lunch is served at the Selva Verde Lodge on the Sarapiqui River. There is a 1 1/2 hour boat ride on the Sarapiqui Jungle River where you will see all kinds of wildlife including monkeys, alligators, sloths, birds, turtles and iguanas. Returning to San Jose, we will drive through the Braulio Carrillo National Park Cloud Forest.

White Water Rafting

Ride the wild tropical river! You will be thoroughly instructed in safety procedures and paddling techniques by an expert river guide. Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs

On the way to Arenal, there is stop in Sarchi where the beautiful arts and crafts of Costa Rica are made. Next stop is the Tabacon Hot Springs where one can swim or relax in the pools of fresh spring water naturally heated by the volcanic activity. There is a perfect view of the Arenal Volcano from the hot springs. At nightfall, we will go to an observation point to view the volcano by night.

Calypso Pacific Island Cruise

You will meet the Calypso Catamaran in Puntarenas after a relaxing drive from San Jose. The cruise is destined for Tortuga Island, famous for its pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear water. The Calypso staff will serve you fresh fruit and fruit drinks aboard the luxurious yacht. Off the island there is excellent snorkeling. Snorkeling equipment is furnished at an extra charge.

The Canopy Tour

This tour uses techniques developed by cavers and canyon repellers to allow the adventurous tourist the opportunity to ascend into the forest canopy and see jungle life from a unique perspective. In the Mahogany National Park you will traverse from tree to tree and platform to platform using pulleys on horizontal cables.

Carara Biological Reserve & Jaco Beach

We will begin this tour with a delicious breakfast and a ride to the Pacific village of Tarcoles. Here we will explore the Tropical Dry Forest of Costa Rica. This National Park is famous for its abundance of flora and species of fauna. Scarlet macaws, crocodiles, ocelots, sloths, monkeys, toucans and trogons can be spotted. After our visit to the park we will make a stop at the nearby beach of Jaco to swim and sun.
